The library is well equipped with Marathi, Hindi And English dictionaries, encyclopedia Britannica. Lots of reference books, several rare books related to the courses are made available in this library. We encourage students as well as staff to use more and more books from library.

To make aware students with general knowledge and current affairs, many Newspapers, Magazines in various languages are subscribed by the library.

Inspiration of our college is honorable humanist, freedom fighter, polymath, encyclopedic thinker and socialist Late Dr. J. P. Naik. Library has made efforts to collect his rare photographs.

As Sports is very important aspect of human health and personality development, encouraging students to learn and play sports/games is the aim of this department. This department provides scientific training of various sports and games. Various competitions are taken to increase participation. Also, first year students have to pass physical education test.

College has well equipped gym so that students can focus on fitness. A large playground of the college is available where students play various athletic sports like running, long jump, high jump, javelin throw, discus throw, shot put etc and games like Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, cricket etc.

Our college is associated with the National Service Scheme (NSS) since academic year 2010-11. NSS creates social awareness, respect about physical/labour works among the students. When students do actual physical works like cleaning villages, working in farms etc. they develop respect about various social elements. After participation of two years in NSS students are also benefited with 10 marks bonus.

As per Shivaji University lead college scheme, Dr. Ghali College, Gadhinglaj is lead college to Dr. J. P. Naik Mahavidyalaya, Uttur. With the help of lead college, our college is trying to improve in all aspects. Our college conducts workshops on various current subjects under the guidance of the lead college.

Dr. J. P. Naik Mahavidyalaya has career guidance center which functions to create awareness about competitive exams like MPSC, UPSC and encourages them to prepare for these exams. The center also conducts of experts and provides students reference books, magazines and question banks.

Our placement cell to inform and connect students with job opportunities. With employment news and ads this cell encourages students to apply. Also we help students to learn how to prepare for written exams and interviews.

This department organizes various activities aimed for overall development of students. This department encourages students to participate in various events, competitions like quiz, singing, dance, drama etc. University Youth festival organizes many other events in which our students actively participate.

During several workshops, events held by college, the Wallpaper committee creates wallpapers according to the subject of the event. This helps students understand how to present various concepts using graphical representation.

As per the norms of the Shivaji University, Dr. J. P. Naik Mahavidyalaya founds student council every year. General Secretary and council body is selected via elections. Selected GS can participate in Student Council election of Shivaji University.

Principal is ex office president of the students council and his/her decision is final and obligatory to all.
